About the Role:
As a Remote Architectural Drafter at RES Civil, you’ll work closely with our engineers and project managers to translate field sketches, hand notes, and markups into polished, code-compliant drawings. You’ll be involved in civil, structural, and architectural drafting for a wide range of projects—from custom homes to industrial facilities.
What You’ll Do:
- Draft detailed plans, sections, and details in AutoCAD (Revit experience is a bonus!)
- Collaborate via Zoom, email, and cloud storage—no commute required
- Integrate redlines and feedback rapidly
- Maintain drawing organization and version control
- Occasionally attend virtual meetings for design coordination
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years’ professional drafting experience (civil, structural, or architectural preferred)
- AutoCAD proficiency a must; Revit, Bluebeam, or Civil 3D a plus
- Ability to read construction documents and take direction from engineers/PMs
- Excellent communication and self-management for remote work
- US-based, eligible to work in the US (W-2 or 1099 considered)

About the Role:
As a Senior Project Engineer at RES Civil, you’ll leverage your Professional Engineer license to lead complex civil and structural projects throughout South Florida. You’ll work directly with clients, contractors, and our in-house team, balancing hands-on technical work, project management, and mentorship. We’re seeking someone who thrives in a dynamic, growth-focused environment and is passionate about practical, buildable design.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and design residential and commercial projects from proposal to closeout
- Oversee and review junior engineers’ and drafters’ work for code compliance and constructability
- Serve as Engineer of Record, sealing and signing plans as needed
- Interface directly with clients, AHJs, and permitting agencies
- Attend site visits and field meetings as required (mostly Broward, Palm Beach, Miami-Dade)
What We’re Looking For:
- PE license in Florida (required; multi-state a plus)
- 7+ years’ experience in civil/structural engineering, with portfolio of built projects
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam; Revit/Civil 3D a plus
- Strong communication skills—able to present to clients and city officials
- Leadership mindset and collaborative, mentoring style
- Must be based in South Florida (hybrid schedule possible)

Licensed PE wanted—lead exciting civil & structural projects in Fort Lauderdale and beyond
About the Role:
RES Civil is looking for an energetic Entry or Mid-Level Engineer to join our Lakewood, Colorado office. You’ll support project delivery from the ground up—preparing calculations, drafting reports, performing site visits, and learning directly from experienced PEs. If you want a job where you actually see your work built, this is it.
What You’ll Do:
- Support design for residential, commercial, and small industrial projects
- Assist with field investigations, site measurements, and construction administration
- Draft plans, prepare calculations, and help assemble permit packages
- Learn codes and standards for Colorado and national projects
- Participate in client meetings and collaborate with drafters and senior staff
What We’re Looking For:
- BS in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (EIT preferred; recent grads welcome)
- 0–4 years’ experience in engineering or construction
- Strong AutoCAD and/or Revit skills
- Excellent communication and willingness to learn
- Interest in residential and light commercial structures
- Must be able to work in-person in our Lakewood, CO office
